I am a mutual fund professional with core expertise in Marketing, Sales, Distribution and Product Management. I am currently the Chief Executive Officer at Edelweiss Asset Management Ltd. In this role, my core responsibility is to spearhead Edelweiss Mutual Fund and AMC operations across regions.

My professional experience includes stints at Bharati AXA Investment Managers Private Ltd. and ING Investment Management Pvt. Ltd. as Country Head – Business Development and at Birla Sun Life AMC Ltd. as Head – Marketing.

I have helped the AMCs associated with me to streamline their distribution channels, improve brand equity and successfully launch new products. During my tenure at ING in 2007, the company catapulted to the BT top 10 Investment Management Brands. More recently, Zero Balance Folios, a Bharti AXA product that I was involved in, received Asia Asset Monitor’s ‘Most Innovative Product’ award.

I serve as a Member on SEBI’s Mutual Fund Advisory Committee and with two AMFI committees. I am also a Director on the Board of Association of Mutual Funds of India (AMFI).

When not busy with the fund world, I put my vocal chords to a rather interesting use. As a professional voice modulation artist, I have dubbed for a couple of films for Discovery Channel.
